Stepped Grolsch

I absolutely love my Grolsch AG. There is always room for improvement so I decided to try it with a stepped mash. I only moved it to the keg yesterday but decided to try a pint today and it's blown my socks off again.

It's still a little sweet, so could do with a little work. I'm thinking of double pitching the yeast for the next batch. Other than the slightly sweet taste, the body and the flavour is absolutely out of this world. It's a gnats hair away from the real deal, once I have it dry and crisp it'll be absolutely on the money.

Delighted with this brew, can't wait to try it again :)

I'm over the moon with this brew. I'm so happy that my Closch keeps getting better and better. Next time I'm going to follow the recipe exactly the same as this time only with more flavour and aroma hops, it doesn't quite have the overpowering fresh hop taste that I'm after yet.
